Free Medical Camp for Minorities of Islamabad

In the federal capital Islamabad, a free medical camp was organized on Wednesday in Hansa Colony, Sector G-8/1, under the Islamabad Employees Social Security Institution (IESSI) for the health and welfare of minorities and deserving individuals. Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, attended the event as the chief guest. The local Christian community and schoolchildren warmly welcomed the Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa along with other guests at the ceremony.

This camp was organized especially to fulfill the medical needs of deserving individuals living in minority areas of the capital city. Approximately 1,000 patients were provided with free check-ups and free medicines at the medical camp.

The Chairman CDA also visited the free medical camp and dispensary established under IESSI. On this occasion, he appreciated IESSI’s initiative for minorities in the federal capital Islamabad and said that the purpose of this initiative is to ensure the provision of healthcare facilities to all segments of society.

He stated that this time a minority colony was specifically selected so that residents could have better access to medical facilities. He added that organizing such camps enables the service of humanity while playing a positive role in society. The Chairman CDA directed the district administration to arrange similar camps in other parts of the city so that maximum deserving people can be reached and quality healthcare facilities can be provided.

At the ceremony, IESSI Commissioner Rabia Aurangzeb expressed special thanks to the Chairman CDA and the concerned officers, stating that the purpose of this camp was not limited to workers only, but also included minority and underprivileged communities in healthcare services.

At the conclusion of the event, free medical kits were distributed among patients. Commemorative shields were also presented to the chief guests and other supporters. Additionally, at the end of the ceremony, the Chairman CDA and participants reaffirmed their commitment to continuing important healthcare initiatives and humanitarian service programs in society.
